This Financial Services Guide is designed to help you to decide whether to use any of the financial services offered by Plantech Consulting Group Pty Ltd (“Plantech”). |
Plantech provides software products to businesses and advisers in the financial services industry. Its products contain factual information and general advice in relation to financial products.
| Plantech is authorised to provide general advice about the following financial products: |

investment life insurance products; |

life risk insurance products; and |

superannuation. |
Any financial advice contained in Plantech’s products is general advice only. It does not take into account any particular individual’s needs, objectives and financial situation. The financial adviser who uses Plantech’s products may provide a personal advice service if that adviser is authorised to do so. Plantech does not, and is not authorised to, provide personal advice.
Plantech does not, nor is it authorised to, deal in financial products. If a person wishes to acquire, dispose or vary a financial product they must do this through their financial adviser or the financial product provider.
Plantech is merely a vendor of software. It does not act on anybody’s behalf, except its own, when it provides the software.
Remuneration
Plantech Consulting Group Pty Ltd is remunerated by receiving a fee from the purchasers who buy its software products. It does not receive any further payments or benefits from the companies whose products it analyses.
Staff of Plantech Consulting Group Pty Ltd are paid an annual salary, and do not receive any commissions.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about Plantech’s financial services, you can contact it by telephone or in writing at the address noted at the beginning of this FSG. It will be referred to Plantech’s Responsible Officer, Stuart Bland.
A written acknowledgment of the complaint will be sent within 24 hours. Plantech has internal complaints procedures which aim at resolving complaints within 45 days. These will be explained to you. Plantech will try and resolve your complaint quickly and fairly.
If the complaint can’t be resolved to your satisfaction within 90 days, you can to refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service Limited (“FOS”). Plantech is a member of FOS, member number 11854. FOS can be contacted on 1300 78 08 08 or you can write to them at GPO Box 3, Melbourne, VIC, 3001. You can also visit their website at
